Some Thoughts Scanning Through?

I had some projects that I set myself up to do earlier this year and I never got around to doing most of them and the ones I did do failed miserably. What I learned from those experiences is to not tell anyone or make any real mentions of ideas etc with people till most of its done or else peeps are gonna be like so whatever happened to that book thing? or whatever I dunno don't sell something till the product is done and or doesn't suck.

I bought a scanner in late 2008 maybe and It's come to my attention that i still don't quite understand it. Dpi's still kinda confuses me and all I know is that I don't really understand technology. I bring this up because I always lose quality (what quality ... shut up insecure voices) in my scribz when I post'em any ways whatever. It's Summer 2010 sometime has passed and I don't think I've evolved changed or become any better at well anything. So in good faith I can't continue this series of being whack.

The only way I think I could remedy this era of not being awesome is to take some classes at not being so whack. So I guess I'm a gonna get some schooling.

My very first moment in which I decided to draw was a long time ago when I was young drawing cars, robots, and cars that transformed into robots. It hasn't been an easy hobby for me I remember always being extremely private about the whole thing mostly based in fear. I can recall moments were I was shitted on by peers in school who said I sucked. They were right but it's those moments I wish I could relive and do differently with either verbal retort of some science or punch their stupid faces a million times because that hurts why would you say that? The intention there isn't to improve or to motivate there are ways for to do that but those weren't it. To this day those moments in time are like my bad war flashbacks(exaggerations but so be it) and its painful to look back, heck I dunno I'm still very gunshy about this whole drawing thing and its almost cost me this hobby I once enjoyed.

Broken but its ok.
Woke Up can't find No direction

Another fine day.

All Things Must Pass

It's been over two years since I started this blog all the way back in Feb 2008, two years. Today I celebrate growing as a person and the hopes to continue growing as a person, I mean it metaphorically of course I'm pretty sure 5'8ish is the tallest(closer 5'9 i like to under sell myself but damn I'm short) I'll ever be but I digress this celebration is a triumph as this is my 100th post on this ole blog. What better way to celebrate than to post some scribbles I've done of George Harrison the greatest of the Beatles.

I did these doodles while listening to music and thinking of what the heck to draw. I noticed some of jams were clearly influenced by George's work and I just decided this is good but I need the real thing All Things Must Pass Is a great fucking record.

I'm the first to admit I could never really draw people in a serious fashion or even a caricature or heck remotely what they look like but what can I say I did the best I could do and it was fun anyways.

Over 2 years! Dang well I hope this all continues to be progress in some form or another, this has been a blast either way.

Beartatoes for Dinner.

I did the Harrison drawing (the bottom one on the right) while watching Shark Week a couple weeks back; totally forgot about it till yesterday after that post about how much I like the comic. Is this fan stuff boarding on fanboy levels?

Stuff That is Awesome Vol. 1

Today I really wanna talk about something that is awesome so in a trivial fashion I offer a new series of segments called: Stuff That is Awesome. I know its quite possibly the greatest and most creative title for a feature ever. Well Without further ado

Nedroid Picture Diary
Nedroid Picture Diary found at the URL Nedroid.com is an amusing lighthearted rump of a comic I cant get enough of it. If you looked up awesome in a dictionary you'd get a link to this comic of course it would work best if that dictionary is of the electronic variety to read it. I can get lost in it forever the humor just hits me so many levels of goodness. The strip I can only assume is written on some golden quill with most stunning of plumage because its just pure gold.

Game Changers: Season

I'd be lying to myself and everybody If weren't me and me is a dude who loves to drawing because that's just how I get by and well what the hell else would I do? So today I offer up a little doodle of Charlie Brown I did while taking a break from doing some mad painful moving of furniture and what not so yeah. Well hmm, I could go into self deprecate mode and straight up diss my skills and call out all the errors in this drawing but fuck that noise its become mad fucked out to get all self conscious about what I etch on paper.

Oh wait, another thought stoked that Football is on the telly already was missing it too much.

Tress + Harmoney

There are few things in this world that I wanna spend the rest of my life looking at. Ladies, trees, lakes, mountains, monkeys the list goes on and on even though I just mentioned the list was of few, so I guess I'm a fucking liar.

Well anyways I did this little doohickey thanks in part to a fun little online tool called Harmony its free, its fun, sometimes a little limited but mostly awesome.

Mass Murder on Papper and Wax

Leftover Residue, some from as early as February 2010. Folks that was a long time ago but I will peruse my intent on dropping mad science in the form of scribbles, doodles, etching whatever have you.
